Radiesse is a non-surgical filler that can often be substituted for facial implants. The versatility and long-lasting results of Radiesse are ideal for many. Radiesse can be used to lessen or eliminate facial creases (such as smile lines), to restore the appearance of the cheeks, and to develop the shape of the chin. It is made of a dermal filler called calcium hydroxapatite, which creates the desired volume and contour through the natural growth of soft tissues in the face.
After numbing, Radiesse is injected beneath the skin during an office visit with Dr. Waldman. The effects of Radiesse can be seen in a matter of days and typically last 12-18 months.
Perlane and Restylane are injectable dermal fillers that can restore youthful contours to the skin. The effects include smoothing wrinkles and folds of the face (such as frown lines), reducing surface damage, or scarring, to the skin, as well as restoring the fullness of the lips. Perlane and Restylane are composed of a Non-Animal, Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid (NASHA) in a clear gel form. Hyaluronic Acid is natural, non-allergenic, and degradable. Because this form of Hyaluronic Acid is completely free of animal proteins, the possibility of an allergic reaction to either Perlane or Restylane is significantly reduced.
After numbing, Restylane or Perlane can be injected beneath the skin during an office visit with Dr. Waldman. Results for both products can be seen in a matter of days, and can last approximately 9-12 months. However, some treatments may last longer depending on individual factors. Treatment can be repeated as often as desired.
Juvederm is an injectable dermal filler used to smooth wrinkles or as a filler for the lips. It is composed of a highly concentrated Hyaluronic Acid, which ensures optimal results. Hyaluronic Acid is non-allergenic, degradable, and found naturally in the body. Juvederm is injected beneath the skin in the form of a clear gel.
After numbing, Juvederm can be injected beneath the skin during an office visit with Dr. Waldman. Results can be seen in a matter of days, and will typically last up to one year.
Sculptra provides a gradual facial rejuvenation that happens naturally. Like other fillers, Sculptra is used to reverse aging signs found in the face by contouring laugh lines as well as hollows and depressions in the cheeks, temple, and jaw lines. However, Sculptra is unique from other fillers in that it stimulates the body to produce collagen to restore the desired youthful appearance.
Sculptra produces gradual change, not immediate, and therefore it creates a more natural result. Along with facial rejuvenation, the skin’s texture and consistency will improve. While these natural, gradual results are ideal, several treatments are necessary.
After numbing, Sculptra can be injected beneath the skin during an office visit with Dr. Waldman. This product is mixed with lidocaine, and therefore discomfort is minimal. Sculptra can also be used along with Botox® Cosmetic, Radiesse, Perlane, Restylane, and Juvederm. Because the product must be mixed 24 hours in advance, Sculptra appointments with Dr. Waldman cannot be scheduled on Mondays. Results will be seen gradually and can last approximately one year, depending on individual factors.
